My Bio
Welcome. :) I hope you enjoy.

*Please note that NONE of my art work here is stock. Sketching, not manipulating is acceptable - that's mostly your talent. Anything other than personal digital viewing requires written permission.*

I received my first disk film, flip camera from my uncle when I was maybe 7 or 8, since then I've pretty much always had a camera at hand. I shot B&W film on an old AE1-Program in school and had a lot of fun in the dark room. I studied briefly with another B&W photographer. Eventually got frustrated with the limitations of film, as digital started coming into its own... borrowed cameras from friends or family and finally picked up a nice SLR of my very own. Over the years I've always been a Canon person though I hear Nikon is good too, more a matter of personal preference and lens compatibility.

I almost never go anywhere without my camera. I enjoy nature photography, spend some time doing food photography, and have had fun photographing people more in recent years. I've thought about going full time... I hope to start selling artistic prints one of these days... I don't want to get burnt out, but traveling just for photography would be amazing. :)

I shoot with mostly natural / available light. I have some formal training, a natural eye for framing, and years of carrying a camera with me. =)

I make it a point to try and get a great image without digital editing. Editing can produce some amazing prints from mediocre source. I'm not beyond the occasional toying with an image, or saving an otherwise great shot, but I tend to be a purest in creating the images I capture. HDR does seem intriguing though.

I'm up for just about any sort of photography assuming that it's interesting, artistic, and creative. =) This is something I do out of pocket because I enjoy it.

If you have something interesting in mind, feel free to let me know. Hope you appreciate the images I have up.

Thank you for faving [link] :)
You're welcome, I like the perspective. I went 16-35mm, which is awesome, but I'm almost thinking I might need to go even wider now. =)
Inversely, I get tired of wide angle, and I think about going back to simpler pictures. :D
I just picked up my 16mm in the last few months, love it (thought about going even wider, but that's a good flexible lens, and it can still keep things realistic.) But, variety is good... that's where the 100mm macro comes in! =)
Thank you, it's been a favorite past time, for quite some time past. :)

I see you've gotten into photography again recently, it can be a lot of things from frustrating to exhilarating, keep it up! =)
Thank you for faving :)
